Liffey Falls Access

Liffey Falls Flood Recovery Update - as advised by Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service, dated 3 February 2017

The travelling public and tourists are advised that the Liffey Falls campground and toilet facility accessed from Bogan Road is currently open.  However, access to the Liffey Falls walking track from this campground is closed due to the commencement of track repair work.  It is anticipated that this section of the walking track will remain closed until April 2017.

Access to Liffey Falls via the top section of the walking track from Riversdale Road is open until late April which will allow visitors to visit the falls.

Roadworks are expected to recommence after this period. This will result in a further road closure which would mean that access to the falls and walking track will not be possible for 4 weeks from the road closure date (date yet to be confirmed).
